DISMISSALS AND DISCIPLINE. 20.6.1 An Owner Operator may only be disciplined or dismissed for just cause after an interview has been held in accordance with Article 20.6.3. It is understood that the Company has met its obligation to hold an interview by providing 24 hours’ notice of the interview to the Owner Operator or making reasonable effort to notify the Owner Operator. In the event the Owner Operator does not appear for the interview without a reasonable excuse, the Company shall be entitled to proceed with disciplinary action without an interview. In cases where the Owner Operator provides a reasonable excuse for his inability to attend the interview, the interview shall be rescheduled to be held on his return to work and time limits under Article 20.6.3 shall be waived.
