Displacement Order Clause Samples

A Displacement Order clause establishes the conditions under which one party may be required to vacate or relinquish possession of property, typically in favor of another party with a higher legal right or priority. In practice, this clause might apply in situations such as lease agreements where a landlord needs to regain possession for redevelopment, or in construction contracts where a contractor must leave a site to allow another contractor to begin work. The core function of this clause is to provide a clear legal mechanism for resolving competing claims to possession, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring orderly transitions.

In all cases the employee with the least seniority will be displaced.
