Common use of Disposal of Refuse Clause in Contracts

Disposal of Refuse. The contractor shall cart away all debris, refuse etc. arising from the work from the site and deposit the same as directed by the architect / consultant at his own cost. It is the responsibility of the contractor to obtain from the local authorities concerned to the effect that all rubbish arising out of contractor’s activities at the construction site or any other off- site activities borrow pits has been properly disposed off.
