District Contribution Reduction. Should District contribution for medical/dental coverage be reduced in 2006-07 or 2007-08 below the preceding years established level, the related reduction in District contribution costs for unit members shall be returned to the unit as a source of funds which is available for redistribution. B.8.1 The District contribution for life insurance is $7.00 per employee per month, as identified in Appendix A, Section A.9.5, for the 2006-07 and 2007-08 years. Should the District and SEIU continue the life insurance program in subsequent contracts, the District will continue to fund fifty percent (50%) of the initial premium rate or $3.50 per employee per month. Any future increases in premiums will be funded from the unit’s proportionate share.
