District Involvement. Minneapolis Public Schools provides skilled professional practitioners, a wide range of programs, and diverse urban schools for pre-student teachers and student teachers in approved teacher preparation programs from contracting institutions. The pre-service experience is designed to develop and hone teaching skills and broaden repertoires of instructional strategies. Student teacher placements are made through the office of the X.X.X.X. Lead Teacher.
