District Responsibilities. The lists of terminated, suspended, and barred practitioners are available at the following Websites. District Responsibilities. The District, in supporting the Pre-K Counts Program shall, in addition to the Premises identified above, offer ancillary services, as may be necessary, which may include food service (breakfast and lunch), custodial service (cleaning the Premises and refuse collection) and nurse services (to include basic first aid and, as needed, emergency services). In addition, PIC will have its families complete the free and reduced meal forms, which it will provide to the District and the District will invoice PIC according to the families' eligibility. The District will include Pre-K Counts staff in professional development activities and include Pre-K Counts students in appropriate special programs or school activities, such as musical programs. The District will also invite Pre-K Counts parents to become members of the appropriate Parent Teacher Organizations and accept developmental or other pertinent family & student information for those participating in the Pre-K Counts program. Further, the District will attend all necessary meetings and trainings related to the Pre-K Counts program.

9.2. The District shall notify DCF and the police department when any crime involving sexual abuse is reported to school personnel. The City will be the primary investigative agency for such crimes reported to them by the District.

Accordingly, Districts will align practices with requirements of federal and state law and regulations concerning the education of children with disabilities, as well as with the Mountain BOCES Special Education Manual and Comprehensive Plan. To ensure this alignment with Mountain BOCES, Districts will:
1. Use the Mountain BOCES website, xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx, as a point of reference for information needed to maintain coordinated implementation of services
2. In the context of Section D of the MOU, work with the support of Mountain BOCES in the administration and provision of all special education programs and services to ensure adequate staff and support for students with special needs.
3. With the support of Mountain BOCES, manage Child Find and special education service provision in schools that have been chartered by the District as addressed in the individual district/charter school contract and MOU, including Child Find requests, special education services, evaluation of programming, staff qualifications, and staffing patterns
4. Implement the Part C Child Find MOU as it pertains to Part C Child Find evaluations and the transition of students from Part C to Part B services
5. Provide special accommodations under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including but not limited to the development and implementation of a formal 504 Plan for any student who is eligible and requires such a plan.
6. Work with Mountain BOCES to periodically evaluate special education programs and services provided in the District, per the requirements of the CDE Comprehensive Plan
7. Work with Mountain BOCES to periodically review the staffing allocation process in the District and assure that it aligns with the Mountain BOCES identified process per the requirements of the CDE Comprehensive Plan
8. Hire, supervise, and evaluate adequately licensed (highly qualified and fully qualified) staff who serve children at the District level
9. Provide input into the performance appraisals of Mountain BOCES staff working in the District
10. Use the IEP system to provide Mountain BOCES with official copies of each Individualized Education Plan (“IEP”) pertaining to each eligible student enrolled in the District in a timely manner as required by state and federal law

District Responsibilities a. The District will name a HS administrator to serve as the contact to the College.
b. When requested by the College, the District will provide a list of classes for the term being scheduled, including the requested number of sections, dates, hours and the subjects to be taught.
c. The District will provide the College with a list of instructor and substitute hires, including transcripts, credentials and TB results, for all District instructors who will be teaching in the noncredit program. It is imperative that instructors selected to teach can commit to the entire term of the class. Each instructor must be assigned to a specific section and each instructor and substitute must meet minimum qualifications for that specific subject. Each instructor and substitute must complete the hiring process through the College Human Resource Office prior to the first day of instruction. Otherwise, the instructor or substitute will not be allowed to teach the class.
d. Each HS Administrator and all necessary support staff must attend a mandatory training session prior to the first day of instruction. Registration and attendance methods will be reviewed. The training session will be held on the Citrus College campus. The date and time of the orientation will be determined by the College in consultation with the District.
e. Each HS instructor being hired by the College, including the necessary support staff and administrator, must attend a mandatory orientation meeting prior to the first day of instruction. Registration and attendance methods will be reviewed. A review of the payroll process will also be included. f. Each HS instructor must submit a course syllabus for the class he/she has been assigned. The syllabus must contain student learning outcomes. A template will be provided to all instructors at the mandatory orientation meeting.
