District Proposals Sample Clauses
The "District Proposals" clause defines the process by which a school district may submit formal suggestions or requests for changes, additions, or modifications to an agreement or policy. Typically, this clause outlines the procedures for submitting proposals, such as required formats, deadlines, and the parties responsible for review and response. For example, it may specify that proposals must be submitted in writing to a designated committee before a certain date. The core function of this clause is to ensure an organized and transparent method for the district to initiate negotiations or improvements, thereby promoting structured communication and efficient resolution of issues.
District Proposals. The Governing Board shall present its proposals to GTA at the next regularly scheduled board meeting following public comment on GTA’s proposals. Thereafter, the parties shall meet and negotiate as soon as practicable. The first negotiating session for the upcoming school year shall be held no later than the last instructional day. Negotiations on cost items may start after the state budget and District budget updates based on the state budget are completed. This timeline shall be suspended if the District and GTA have not concluded the prior year’s negotiation or are in the process of negotiating a multi-year successor agreement.
