Common use of Diversity Recruitment and Retention Clause in Contracts

Diversity Recruitment and Retention. Members are expected to value diversity within their sites through being supportive and respectful of all individuals, including, but not limited to, patients, staff, peers, administrators, and supervisors who are different from them in age, gender, gender identity, body size, race, color, ethnicity, culture, national origin, ancestry, religion, creed, spirituality, sexual orientation, disability, language, veterans status, socioeconomic status, or any other classification protected by law. Members are expected to value diversity by promoting a safe, trusting, and accepting environment and strive to learn from each other in an atmosphere of mutual respect. In order to recruit and retain a diverse group of staff and supervisors, Members are encouraged to work within the following measures when choosing staff and supervisors for their sites:
