Because the integrity of the AFSL xxxx is critical to the ability of U.S. importers and government officials to rely on AFSL to certify only high quality fireworks, AFSL monitors fireworks in the U.S. marketplace to determine whether the merchandise legitimately bears the AFSL xxxx and in fact complies with QIP requirements. Such monitoring is conducted by AFSL with the voluntary cooperation of U.S. importers participating in the QIP.
