Common use of DOOR GRAT Clause in Contracts

DOOR GRAT. The employees in ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ will collectively pay to the manager out of their gratuities an amount equal to one percent of the server’s total sales exclusive of taxes while they were on duty. It is understood that this payment is made in recognition of the fact that the manager renders a service to the patrons of the outlet which assists the employees in making gratuities.
