Double Occupancy. Double occupancy of the unit is permitted only at your request in accordance with the parameters established by the Ohio Department of Health and the Waiver Program, if applicable. If two individuals are parties to this Agreement, a second person occupancy fee, as listed in Exhibit 1A, shall be applied. Both residents shall be jointly and severally liable for all fees and charges incurred by each Resident. When two persons are parties to this Residency Agreement, and when one such person permanently vacates the Unit, the remaining resident shall have the option of:

Double Occupancy. If two (2) of you occupy the Residence and if one (1) of you leaves the campus or dies, this Agreement shall not terminate with respect to the remaining Resident. If the remaining Resident elects to keep this Agreement in effect, the Entrance Fee shall be deemed to apply to the remaining Resident and the Second Person Entry Fee shall be refunded. The remaining Resident shall pay the Monthly Service Fee for single occupancy. Any refund or repayment due shall be paid only upon termination of this Agreement as to the remaining Resident and shall be computed based upon the remaining Entrance Fee.

When two persons are parties to this Residency Agreement, and when one such person permanently vacates the Suite, the remaining resident shall have the option of: • Retaining the same Suite, with the understanding that a prospective resident may select that Suite for double occupancy; or • Retaining the same Suite and paying the fee applicable to private occupancy; or • Relocating to a single occupancy Suite, if available.
Double Occupancy. In situations of Double Occupancy, any applicable refund shall be paid by Messiah Village to the estate of the last surviving Co-Resident unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Each Co-Resident remains jointly and severally liable for each other’s charges. Messiah Village reserves the right to declare any transfer permanent at any time in accordance with the Messiah Village Transfer Guideline Policy (See Attachment A of this Agreement).

Double Occupancy. All hotel reservations are guaranteed for double occupancy (i.e. 2 adults). Unless specifically noted, accommodations for more than two adults are not guaranteed. Some hotels may not allow extra guests. If your hotel does allow extra guests, there may be additional charges. These charges vary and will be payable directly to the hotel.
