Common use of Dredging, when allowed Clause in Contracts

Dredging, when allowed. Dredging may be allowed for the following purposes when significant ecological impacts are minimized and mitigation is provided: A. Development, expansion and maintenance of essential public facilities when there are no feasible alternatives. B. Reduction of flood hazards when consistent with an approved flood hazard management plan. C. Restoration or enhancement of shoreline ecological functions and processes benefiting water quality and/or fish and wildlife habitat.
