Dues Collection during Separation from Employment. The provisions specified above shall not apply during periods of separation from the representative bargaining unit by any such employee but shall reapply to such employee commencing with the next full pay period following the return of the employee to the representative bargaining unit. The term separation includes transfer out of the bargaining unit, layoff, and leave without pay absences with a duration of more than five (5) working days.
