DUES DEDUCTION AND FAIR SHARE FEE. A. The Employer and the Labor Council recognize the right of employees to form, join and participate in activities of employee organizations and the right of employees to refuse to form, join and participate in such activities. When a refusal is registered by an employee, the Labor Council shall not coerce an employee to join or participate in the activities of the organization. B. The Employer agrees to deduct regularly, dues for eligible members in the amount determined by the Union after proper written notification to the Sheriff. The total deducted amount shall be transmitted to the Labor Council as soon after the first working day of the month as is possible. If any unforeseen delay occurs, the Labor Council will be notified immediately. C.
