Durable equipment used for the implementation of a project. (a) In the cases where the body responsible for implementation is executing site preparation or construction works, or parts thereof on its own account, expenditure on the purchase or production of durable equipment that is employed during the implementation phase of a project is not eligible. This concerns heavy construction machines as well as office and other types of equipment. (b) Durable equipment that is expressly purchased or produced for implementing a project can be considered eligible if it is without economic value or scrapped after use and if so specified in the financing memorandum.
