DURATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE AGREEMENT. 24.1: This Agreement, after having been first executed by both parties in accordance with applicable Florida Statutes and PERC regulations, and after having been ratified by the Employees in the Bargaining Unit and adopted by the City Commission of Coconut Creek, Florida, shall become effective upon ratification and shall continue in full force and effect until September 30, 2025. This Agreement shall not be retroactive except to the extent provisions of this Agreement specifically so indicate. 24.2: On or before April 1st of the final year of the Agreement term, the City and the Union shall exchange proposals, although failure to exchange proposals by the date set forth does not negate either party’s right to negotiate revisions in the terms and conditions of the Agreement. 24.3: Negotiations shall commence no later than June 1st, unless an extension is mutually agreed to by the City and PBA in writing. 24.4: The City agrees to provide one copy of the ratified Agreement to each bargaining unit employee upon request and to post the entire Agreement on Coconet.
