Common use of Dusting Clause in Contracts

Dusting. There shall be no obvious dust streaks. Corners, crevices, molding and ledges (including heating) shall be free of all obvious dust. There shall be no oils, spots or smudges on desk or dusted surfaces. Thoroughly dust all vertical and horizontal surfaces in all cleanable areas with approved dust cloth or tool treated with an approved water based dust control chemical, up to and including ceiling vents, air bars, and lighting devices, window blinds, etc. Do not move dusting residue from spot to spot, but remove directly from the areas in which dirt lies by the most effective means appropriate; treated dusting cloths or vacuum tools. a. Leave no dust streaks. b. Leave corners, crevices, molding and ledges free of dust and cobwebs. c. Leave no oil spots or smudges on dusted surfaces caused by dusting tools.
