Dusting. All furniture, office equipment and appliances, windowsills, etc., will be dusted with a treated cloth or static duster. This shall include all horizontal surfaces up to 7 feet high and enough vertical surfaces daily to complete all vertical surfaces within each week. Desks and tables not cleared of paper and work materials will only be dusted where desk is exposed. Telephones will be damp wiped and disinfected.
Dusting. Surfaces must be free of dust, litter, lint, and soil, using a dusting solution and saturate dust mops and rags to facilitate removal, except where the solution would damage the item being dusted.
Dusting. There shall be no obvious dust streaks. Corners, crevices, molding and ledges (including heating) shall be free of all obvious dust. There shall be no oils, spots or smudges on desk or dusted surfaces. Thoroughly dust all vertical and horizontal surfaces in all cleanable areas with approved dust cloth or tool treated with an approved water based dust control chemical, up to and including ceiling vents, air bars, and lighting devices, window blinds, etc. Do not move dusting residue from spot to spot, but remove directly from the areas in which dirt lies by the most effective means appropriate; treated dusting cloths or vacuum tools.
a. Leave no dust streaks.
b. Leave corners, crevices, molding and ledges free of dust and cobwebs.
c. Leave no oil spots or smudges on dusted surfaces caused by dusting tools.
Dusting. A properly dusted surface is free of all dirt, dust, dust streaks, lint and cobwebs.
Dusting. Handrails, baseboards, light fixtures, and all horizontal ledges and surfaces will be wiped with a treated dust cloth.
Dusting. All horizontal surfaces, including furniture tops and ledges within reach, are to be dusted nightly using treated dust cloths. No feather dusters will be allowed.
Dusting. Dusting is defined as the removal of laden airborne dirt, soil, lint, or other foreign material from furniture, fixtures, ledges, shelves, frames, walls and any other items which may accumulate airborne particles. Normal or low dusting is all levels up to and including six (6) feet in height. All high dusting will be all levels above six (6) feet high. Standard: When properly dusted the item will be free of any laden airborne materials, streaks, and smudges. Laden airborne matter will be removed by either mechanical, chemical or manual means except that devices which merely displace or redistribute the matter, such as feather dusters, will not be used, unless treated to attract and hold the matter. All items moved to accomplish this task will be returned to their original position.
Dusting. All furniture, accessories, ledges and other horizontal surfaces, will be dusted using a treated dust cloth. All surfaces are to be left in a clean, dust-free condition. Spot cleaning will be performed as necessary.
Dusting. All horizontal surfaces, including furniture tops and areas within reach which includes the security station (console) and seating areas, are to be dusted nightly using treated dust cloths. No feather dusters are to be used.
Dusting. Normal or low dusting includes all levels up to six feet (6’) in height. All high dusting will be over six feet (6’) in height up to ceiling level. Dust shall not be moved from spot to spot, but removed directly from the areas in which it lies by the most effective means such as appropriately treated dusting cloths, specialized vacuum tools, etc. When performing high dusting, dust shall not be allowed to fall from high areas onto furniture and equipment below. Dusting devices which merely displace or redistribute the matter, such as feather dusters, will not be used unless treated to attract and hold matter. The following conditions shall exist after the completion of each dusting task:
1. There shall be no dust streaks on surfaces.
2. Corners, crevices, moldings, and legs shall be free of all dust.
3. There shall be no oils, spots, or smudges on dusted surfaces caused by dusting tools.
4. Cobwebs will be removed.
5. Any articles moved to accomplish the task shall be returned to their original position.
