DUTIES OF THE DEPARTMENT. A. The Department, through its Judicial Districts, shall compensate Contractor for services performed under this Agreement at a fee to be determined in accordance with the Office of Language Access Fiscal Policy. Compensation shall be paid separately by each District in which Contractor has provided services under this Agreement for services rendered in that District. B. It is specifically agreed that the fee is neither a salary nor an hourly wage, and any computation of fee based on performance time is for convenience of the parties in determining value of services and not intended as a salary or hourly wage.
