Duties of the Mentor. Teacher a) Shall provide assistance and guidance to new teachers upon written request of such teachers, or upon request of site principal. b) May provide assistance and guidance to more experienced teachers upon written request of such teachers, or upon request of site principal. c) May provide staff development for teachers at school. d) May develop special curriculum. e) Shall not participate in the evaluation of teachers. f) The mentor teacher shall have no authority over any other teacher by virtue of his/her position as mentor.
