Selection Committee. A. Each building site will appoint a selection committee for the TLS. The committee shall be comprised of equal numbers of teachers and administrators and at least one teacher will be appointed by the Des Moines Education Association.
B. The committee will accept and review application for a TLS position and will make recommendations to the hiring administrator. In developing recommendations, the committee will utilize measures of teacher effectiveness and professional growth, consider the needs of the school district and review the performance and professional development of the applicants. Teachers who are selected must meet all of the qualification contained in the TLS grant and contained in the law.
Selection Committee. 1. The Fund Operator shall establish at least one Selection Committee. The role of the Selection Committee is to recommend to the Fund Operator which projects should be funded. The Selection Committee shall consist of at least three persons with the relevant sector expertise and experience of working on or with civil society. At least one of them shall be external to the Fund Operator [and its Partner(s)].
2. The FMO, the National Focal Point and the Royal Norwegian Embassy shall be invited to participate in the meetings of the Selection Committee as observers.
3. The Selection Committee shall keep minutes of its meetings. The Fund Operator shall provide the FMO with a copy of the minutes in English no later than two weeks after each meeting. A template for the minutes will be provided by the FMO.
4. The Selection Committee shall operate in an open, transparent and accountable manner, and its composition must ensure that due attention is paid to possible areas of conflict of interest.
Selection Committee. The Participants shall establish a Selection Committee in accordance with this Article V to evaluate and review Bids and select the Initial Plan Processor.
Selection Committee. The Selection Committee for a regular appointment shall be comprised of a minimum of four (4) individuals including:
(a) the appropriate administrator;
(b) a coordinator where applicable, or instructor;
(c) one (1) instructor who is part of the discipline in which the vacancy occurs; and
(d) one (1) support person.
(e) This Committee shall short list, interview and make recommendations. Appropriate release time shall be made available to those on the interview committee.
Selection Committee. The Committee that recommends the appointment of an Employee (pursuant to Article 5.2.3) or a Manager other than the President of BCIT (pursuant to Article 6.1).
Selection Committee. There shall be a sabbatical leave committee made up of seven (7) persons. The Association shall appoint one (1) elementary school member, one (1) intermediate school member, one (1) high school member. Other members of the committee shall be appointed by the District and shall include one (1) special services and program division member, one (1) elementary or intermediate principal, one (1) high school administrator and one (1) Human Resources Department representative. All members except the Human Resources Department representative will be voting members. The Human Resources Department representative shall serve as chairperson. It shall be the duty of the committee to review each application and make recommendations to the Superintendent. It shall be necessary to have five (5) voting members present in order to make recommendations. Applicants whose applications are not approved shall be so informed within ten (10) days following committee action, with the reason therefore clearly indicated. To discuss this reason, a conference may be scheduled with the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources or designee.
Selection Committee. The committee for student teaching leave of absence shall consist of two members appointed by the Superintendent, two members appointed by Service Employees International Union, Local 513, and the Chief Human Resources Officer or designee, who will chair the committee.

Selection Committee. The decision as to which applicant may be granted leave will be made by the Board, acting upon the recommendations from the Selection Committee. Only such proposals as are approved by formal motion of the Board will be undertaken. This Committee consists of: two (2) Teachers appointed by the local unit. one (1) supervisory officer of the Board one (1) trustee who will be chairperson A quorum will consist of all appointed members. The committee, as appointed, shall serve for a one (1) year term.
Selection Committee. There shall be a Selection Committee made up of the following:
(a) the Xxxx;
(b) two (2) Nursing Practice Educators selected by the Department;
(c) two additional employees of the University, selected by the relevant Xxxx, one of whom shall be a faculty Member in the Nursing Department, and one of whom shall be a person having knowledge relevant to the vacancy being filled; and
(d) a student selected by the Students’ Union. The Committee shall elect a chair who will have no vote, except in the event of a tie. Members of the Committee will be required to make a genuine commitment to attend faithfully to the timely discharge of their duties. Where Members serve on the selection committee, Article 21 will apply.
