Duties of the Officers. The Chairman shall preside at all meetings of an Ad Hoc Committee. The Secretary (or his/her designee) shall keep accurate minutes of the proceedings and cause to be prepared such documents and correspondence as may be required from time to time and shall preside in the absence of the Chairman. If the Chairman and Secretary are both absent from a Committee meeting, then the Employer Trustees and Union Trustees, as applicable, shall elect a pro tem Chairman and pro tem Secretary to serve in the respective capacities for the duration of the Committee meeting. The pro tem Chairman and pro tem Secretary shall be from the same respective appointing authorities that hold the office of Chairman and Secretary.
