Beginning with the effort to end conflict, not the end of conflict Despite the most facile reading of its name, jus post bellum should not be overly defined by reference to the time a conflict ends. The term jus post bellum may naturally lead to an emphasis on the temporal boundaries of the armed conflict—as though the question of whether the norms of jus post bellum can be applied can always be clearly demarcated by an event.109 The proper study of jus post bellum should complicate and enrich this overly-neat temporal picture by emphasising the links between the areas of jus post bellum and jus ad bellum as well as between jus post bellum and jus in bello. The question of whether demands for unconditional surrender are permissible,110 for example, is a query asked of a period well before the guns are silenced—and is an issue that links the traditional criteria of jus ad bellum (e.g. just cause) to traditional concerns of jus post bellum or jus victoriae111 as to the rights and responsibilities of the victors. Increased attention to jus post bellum should highlight that demarcating when a conflict terminates is frequently difficult, particularly when non-state actors may splinter, transform, or lie temporarily dormant. Jus post bellum should not be marked off and isolated from other bodies of legal norms on the basis of time, but rather seen as part of a comprehensive framework for managing an interconnected set of problems related to armed conflict.112 109 See x.x.   • Trademark Clearinghouse 4.1 Notwithstanding the requirements of Section 2.8 of the Agreement, Section 1 of Specification 7 to the Agreement and Section 2 of the Trademark Clearinghouse Rights Protection Mechanism Requirements (the “TMCH Requirements”), Registry Operator is not required to provide a Sunrise Period (as defined in the TMCH Requirements) or, except as set forth herein, otherwise comply with the obligations set forth in Section 2 of the TMCH Requirements (collectively, the “Sunrise Requirements”) so long as the TLD continues to be qualified as a .Brand TLD by ICANN. 4.2 Registry Operator must comply with all other provisions of the TMCH Requirements, including completing the Integration Testing required by Section 1 of the TMCH Requirements and providing the Claims Services required by Section 3 of the TMCH Requirements. Registry Operator will provide ICANN (i) confirmation of completion of Integration Testing and (ii) notice of the start date (the “Claims Commencement Date”) and end date for the Claims Period (as defined in the TMCH Requirements) for the TLD, in each case via the customer services portal at xxxx://xxxxxxx.xxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx/.   • CERTIFICATION REGARDING BOYCOTTING CERTAIN ENERGY COMPANIES (Texas law as of September 1, 2021) By submitting a proposal to this Solicitation, you certify that you agree, when it is applicable, to the following required by Texas law as of September 1, 2021: If (a) company is not a sole proprietorship; (b) company has ten (10) or more full-time employees; and (c) this contract has a value of $100,000 or more that is to be paid wholly or partly from public funds, the following certification shall apply; otherwise, this certification is not required. Pursuant to Tex. Gov’t Code Ch. 2274 of SB 13 (87th session), the company hereby certifies and verifies that the company, or any wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary, parent company, or affiliate of these entities or business associations, if any, does not boycott energy companies and will not boycott energy companies during the term of the contract. For purposes of this contract, the term “company” shall mean an organization, association, corporation, partnership, joint venture, limited partnership, limited liability partnership, or limited liability company, that exists to make a profit.   • Surgery Services This plan covers surgery services to treat a disease or injury when: • the operation is not experimental or investigational, or cosmetic in nature; • the operation is being performed at the appropriate place of service; and • the physician is licensed to perform the surgery. This plan covers reconstructive surgery and procedures when the services are performed to relieve pain, or to correct or improve bodily function that is impaired as a result of: • a birth defect; • an accidental injury; • a disease; or • a previous covered surgical procedure. Functional indications for surgical correction do not include psychological, psychiatric or emotional reasons. This plan covers the procedures listed below to treat functional impairments. • abdominal wall surgery including panniculectomy (other than an abdominoplasty); • blepharoplasty and ptosis repair; • gastric bypass or gastric banding; • nasal reconstruction and septorhinoplasty; • orthognathic surgery including mandibular and maxillary osteotomy; • reduction mammoplasty; • removal of breast implants; • removal or treatment of proliferative vascular lesions and hemangiomas; • treatment of varicose veins; or • gynecomastia.

  • WASHINGTON’S ELECTRONIC BUSINESS SOLUTION (WEBS). Contractor represents and warrants that it is registered in Washington’s Electronic Business Solution (WEBS), Washington’s contract registration system and that, all of its information therein is current and accurate and that throughout the term of this Master Contract, Contractor shall maintain an accurate profile in WEBS.

  • designated Trademark Clearinghouse If there is a conflict between the terms and conditions of this Agreement and the Trademark Clearinghouse Requirements, the terms and conditions of this Agreement shall control.

  • Pharmacy Services The Contractor shall establish a network of pharmacies. The Contractor or its PBM must provide at least two (2) pharmacy providers within thirty (30) miles or thirty (30) minutes from a member’s residence in each county, as well as at least two (2) durable medical equipment providers in each county or contiguous county.

  • International Olympic Committee; International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement As instructed from time to time by ICANN, the names (including their IDN variants, where applicable) relating to the International Olympic Committee, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement listed at xxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xxx/en/resources/registries/reserved shall be withheld from registration or allocated to Registry Operator at the second level within the TLD. Additional International Olympic Committee, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement names (including their IDN variants) may be added to the list upon ten (10) calendar days notice from ICANN to Registry Operator. Such names may not be activated in the DNS, and may not be released for registration to any person or entity other than Registry Operator. Upon conclusion of Registry Operator’s designation as operator of the registry for the TLD, all such names withheld from registration or allocated to Registry Operator shall be transferred as specified by ICANN. Registry Operator may self-­‐allocate and renew such names without use of an ICANN accredited registrar, which will not be considered Transactions for purposes of Section 6.1 of the Agreement.
