Common use of EARLY STARTING Clause in Contracts

EARLY STARTING. When an employee arrives at the plant earlier than the normal starting time for his shift, the employee shall not record time on his clock card prior to 15 minutes before the shift starting time. No payment will be made for early starting unless the supervisor has requested in writing that the employee start to work at a time earlier than the normal starting time and such time is approved. Without a prior written request of the supervisor, the employee will not start to work prior to his scheduled starting time.
