EARLY TERMINATION OF CONTRACT/BREACH OF CONTRACT. 1. Teachers requesting release from their contract after the legal notification date will be obligated to reimburse the Board of Education if the release is granted. at the following rates: The reimbursement will be Day following legal notification date through June 15 $500 June 16 through July 31 $1000 August 1 through the completion of the contract year $2000 In the event the district must utilize a collection agency or services of an attorney to collect the above late resignation fee, the educator will be responsible for the additional cost to the district. This charge may be waived by the Board if the request is based on emergencies deemed necessary by the Board.
