Common use of Education and Awareness Clause in Contracts

Education and Awareness. The University recognizes, and takes seriously, its responsibility to maintain a harassment and discrimination free workplace. The Parties agree that the information and training regarding harassment and discrimination is essential. In July of each year, the University will provide each employee with a copy of the University Policy 6 - Harassment/Discrimination. Furthermore, the policy will be given to each new employee and made available on the university webpage. Hard copies are available at the Harassment/Discrimination Office and the Human Resources Office.
