Common use of Educational Development Committee Clause in Contracts

Educational Development Committee. (1) The Committee shall be comprised of a minimum of three (3) members elected from the membership of Local ▇▇▇ - ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇. ▇▇. A normal term of office is two (2) years. Initially, however, the member receiving the most votes will hold office for two (2) years, the second and third members, one (1) year only, to ensure continuity in the future. The School District is invited to appoint a liaison person to the Committee who will be a non-voting member. (2) The Committee shall elect a Chairperson from its members. (3) The Chairperson shall not vote at Committee meetings unless it is to cast the deciding vote.
