Common use of Effect of Termination or Expiration of the Term Clause in Contracts

Effect of Termination or Expiration of the Term. (a) Upon the end of the Term (whether pursuant to a termination pursuant to Section 10.1(a) or otherwise), this Agreement shall forthwith become void and the Parties shall have no liability or obligation under this Agreement, except that (i) the termination of this Agreement shall not relieve any Party from any expense, liability or other obligation or remedy therefor which has accrued or attached prior to the date of such termination, and (ii) the provisions of Section 16.2 through Section 16.5 and Article 19 (other than Section 19.3), and such portions of Appendix II as are necessary to give effect to the foregoing, shall, in each case, survive such termination and remain in full force and effect indefinitely.

(a) Upon the end of the Term (whether pursuant to a termination pursuant to Section 10.1(a7.1(a), Section 7.1(b) or otherwise), this Agreement shall forthwith become void and the Parties shall have no liability or obligation under this Agreement, except that (ia) the termination of this Agreement shall not relieve any Party from any expense, liability or other obligation or remedy therefor which has accrued or attached prior to the date of such termination, and (iib) the provisions of Section 16.2 13.2 through Section 16.5 13.5, and Article 19 16 (other than Section 19.316.3), and such portions of Appendix II as are necessary to give effect to the foregoing, shall, in each case, survive such termination and remain in full force and effect indefinitely.
