Effective on receipt. A Notice given in accordance with clause 22.1 takes effect when taken to be received (or at a later time specified in it), and is taken to be received:
(a) if hand delivered or sent by reputable international courier, on delivery;
(b) if sent by prepaid post, on the second Business Day after the date of posting (or on the seventh Business Day after the date of posting if posted to or from a place outside Australia);
(c) if sent by facsimile, when the sender’s facsimile system generates a message confirming successful transmission of the entire Notice unless, within 8 Business Hours after the transmission, the recipient informs the sender that it has not received the entire Notice, but if the delivery, receipt or transmission is not on a Business Day or is after 5.00pm on a Business Day, the Notice is taken to be received at 9.00am on the next Business Day.
Effective on receipt. A notice given in accordance with clause 19.1 takes effect when it is taken to be received (or at a later time specified in it), and is taken to be received:
(a) if hand delivered, on delivery;
(b) if sent by prepaid post, on the second Business Day after the date of posting (or on the seventh Business Day after the date of posting if posted to or from a place outside Australia); or
(c) if sent by Electronic Communication, at the time that would be the time of receipt under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth), but if the delivery, receipt or transmission is not on a Business Day or is after 5.00pm on a Business Day, the notice is taken to be received at 9.00am on the next Business Day.

(a) if hand delivered, on delivery;
(b) if sent by prepaid post, on the second Business Day after the date of posting (or on the seventh Business Day after the date of posting if posted to or from a place outside Australia);
(c) if sent by facsimile, when the sender's facsimile system generates a message confirming successful transmission of the entire Notice unless, within eight Business Hours after the transmission, the Recipient informs the sender that it has not received the entire Notice, but if the delivery, receipt or transmission is not on a Business Day or is after 5.00pm on a Business Day, the Notice is taken to be received at 9.00am on the next Business Day.
Effective on receipt. A Notice given in accordance with clause 13.1 takes effect when taken to be received (or a later time specified in it), and is taken to be received:
(a) if hand delivered, on delivery; or
(b) if sent by prepaid post, on the second Business Day after the date of posting; or
(c) if sent by e-mail, at the time the email was sent unless the sender receives an automated message that the email has not been delivered, but if the delivery, receipt or transmission is not a Business Day or is after 5.00pm on a Business Day, the Notice is taken to be received at 9.00am on the next Business Date.
Effective on receipt. A Notice given in accordance with clause 8.1 takes effect when taken to be received (or at a later time specified in it), and is taken to be received:
(a) if hand delivered, on delivery;
(b) if sent by prepaid post, seven days after the date of posting (or twenty days after the date of posting if posted to or from a place outside Australia); or
(c) if sent by email, at the time the email was sent unless the sender receives an automated message that the email has not been delivered, but if receipt is not on a Business Day or is after 5.00pm on a Business Day (in the time zone of the addressee), the Notice is taken to be received at 9.00am on the next Business Day.
Effective on receipt. A Notice given in accordance with clause 20.1 takes effect when taken to be received (or at a later time specified in it), and is taken to be received:
(a) if hand delivered, on delivery;
(b) if sent by prepaid post, the second Business Day after the date of posting (or the seventh Business Day after the date of posting if posted to or from a place outside Australia);
(c) if sent by facsimile, when the sender's facsimile system generates a message confirming successful transmission of the entire Notice unless, within eight Business Hours after the transmission, the recipient informs the sender that it has not received the entire Notice; and
(d) if sent by email, when sent by the sender unless the sender receives a delivery failure notification indicating that the email has not been delivered to the addressee, but if the delivery, receipt or transmission is not on a Business Day or is after 5.00pm on a Business Day, the Notice is taken to be received at 9.00am on the next Business Day.
Effective on receipt. A notice given in accordance with clause 20.1 takes effect when it is taken to be received (or at a later time specified in it), and is taken to be received:
(a) if hand delivered, on delivery;
(b) if sent by prepaid post:
(i) on the second Business Day after the date of posting if sent to or from an Australian capital city from the same or another capital city;
(ii) on the fourth Business Day after the date of posting if not sent to or from an Australian capital city; or
(iii) on the seventh Business Day after the date of posting if posted to or from a place outside Australia; or
(c) if sent by Electronic Communication, at the time that would be the time of receipt under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth), but if the delivery, receipt or transmission is not on a Business Day or is after 5.00pm on a Business Day, the notice is taken to be received at 9.00am on the next Business Day.
Effective on receipt. A Notice given in accordance with clause 25.1 takes effect when taken to be received (or at a later time specified in it), and is taken to be received:
(a) if hand delivered, on delivery;
(b) if sent by prepaid post, on the seventh Business Day after the date of posting;
(c) if sent by prepaid express courier service, on the second Business Day after the date of posting;
(d) if sent by facsimile, when the sender’s facsimile system generates a message confirming successful transmission of the entire Notice unless, within eight Business Hours after the transmission, the recipient informs the sender that it has not received the entire Notice; or
(e) if sent by email, on the first to occur of:
(i) receipt by the sender of an email acknowledgement from the recipient’s information system showing that the Notice has been delivered to the recipient’s email address for Notices;
(ii) the time that the Notice enters an information system which is under the control of the recipient; and
(iii) the time that the Notice is first opened or read by the intended addressee, provided that, if the sender receives an out of office reply that states the recipient is out of the office until a later date, the notice will only be taken to be received pursuant to paragraph (i) or (ii) on that later date.
