Common use of Effects of Termination and Expiration Clause in Contracts

Effects of Termination and Expiration. a. In the event of automatic termination by reason of Employee's death pursuant to paragraph 4(a), or by Employer by reason of Employee's permanent disability pursuant to paragraph 4(b), all of Employer's obligations under this Agreement shall end except for Employer's obligations to pay Employee's Base Salary and Bonus Compensation, if any, in each case earned and accrued but unpaid to the date of death or permanent disability. Employee shall also have the right to receive any payments under the death or disability benefits, as the case may be, provided to Employee pursuant to paragraph 3(e), if any.
