Electrical Worker Grade 4. An Electrical Worker Grade 4 is an Employee who: ▪ Has worked for not less than one (1) year in the industry or holds the equivalent experience and without limiting the scope of the work and to the level of the Employee’s training is an Employee who is accredited to perform: ▪ Scaffolding or rigging; or ▪ Is directly in charge of an electrical store and responsible for materials, ordering and purchasing; or ▪ Has worked for not less than one (1) year as an Electrical Worker Grade 3 or has the equivalent experience in the installation of electronics equipment and who, under the minimum supervision of a tradesperson or electronics serviceperson: ▪ Installs radio, communications and related equipment including antenna; or ▪ Installs fire alarm or security alarm equipment; or ▪ Installs, terminates and tests data and communication cabling; or ▪ Inspects and tests fire alarms or security alarm equipment involving a range of responsibility beyond that of an Electrical Worker Grade 3 and works without assistance and supervision; or ▪ Holds a restricted electrical registration; ▪ Provided that this person shall not undertake tasks requiring the skills of a tradesperson; ▪ Included in this grade is the work of purchasing clerk/storeperson and electronic equipment installer Level 2.
Electrical Worker Grade 4. 4.1.1 An "Electrical Worker Grade 4" is an employee who - has worked for not less than one year in the industry or holds the equivalent experience and without limiting the scope of the work and to the level of his training is an employee who - is accredited and employed to perform - scaffolding or - rigging or - is directly in charge of an electrical store and responsible for materials, ordering and purchasing or - has worked for not less than one year as an electrical worker grade 3 or has the equivalent experience in the installation of electronics equipment and who, under the minimum supervision of a tradesperson or electronics serviceperson; - installs radio, communications and related equipment including antenna or - installs fire alarm or security alarm equipment or - installs, terminates and tests data and communication cabling - inspects and tests fire alarms or security alarm equipment involving a range of responsibility beyond that of a Grade 3 Electrical worker and works without assistance and supervision. - provided that this person shall not undertake tasks requiring the skills of a tradesperson.
Electrical Worker Grade 4. An Electrical Worker Grade 4 is an Employee who: ▪ Holds an Electrical licence and also holds other relevant tickets but less than 5 tickets. These can be but not restricted to EWP, Scissor lift yellow card, Working at Heights, High voltage, Site induction, Underground induction and UG vehicle Licence. ▪ This employee has some but limited experience.
Electrical Worker Grade 4. An Electrical Worker Grade 4 is an employee who: 4.1 Has worked for not less than one year in the industry or holds the equivalent experience and without limiting the scope of the work and to the level of the employee’s training is an employee who is accredited to perform: (a) Scaffolding or rigging; or (b) Is directly in charge of an electrical store and responsible for materials, ordering and purchasing; or (c) Has worked for not less than one year as an electrical worker grade 3 or has the equivalent experience in the installation of electronics equipment and who, under the minimum supervision of a tradesperson or electronics serviceperson; (i) Installs radio, communications and related equipment including antenna; or (ii) Installs fire alarm or security alarm equipment; or (iii) Installs, terminates and tests data and communication cabling; or (iv) Inspects and tests fire alarms or security alarm equipment involving a range of responsibility beyond that of a Grade 3 Electrical Worker and works without assistance and supervision; 4.2 Provided that this person shall not undertake tasks requiring the skills of a tradesperson. 4.3 Included in this grade is the work of Purchasing Clerk/Storeperson and Electronic Equipment Installer Level 2.
Electrical Worker Grade 4. 3.1 An "Electrical Worker Grade 4" is an Employee who: 3.1.1 Has worked for not less than one year in the industry or holds the equivalent experience and without limiting the scope of the work and to the level of his or her training is an Employee who: 3.1.2 Is directly in charge of an electrical store and responsible for materials, ordering and purchasing; or 3.1.3 Has worked for not less than one year as an electrical worker Grade 3 or has the equivalent experience in the installation of electronics equipment and who, under the minimum supervision of a tradesperson or electronics serviceperson; • Installs radio, communications and related equipment including antenna; or • Installs fire alarm or security alarm equipment; or • Installs, terminates and tests data and communication cabling. 3.1.4 Inspects and tests fire alarms or security alarm equipment involving a range of responsibility beyond that of a Grade 3 Electrical worker and works without assistance and supervision. 3.1.5 This Employee shall not undertake tasks requiring the skills of a tradesperson. Communications Technician - Electrical Worker Grade 4 will be divided into four Levels namely: • Communications Technician Level 1 Cabling Licence. Limited installation, testing and fault finding experience. • Communications Technician Level 2 Cabling Licence. Good installation, testing and fault finding experience. • Communications Technician Level 3 Cabling Licence. Good all round knowledge and supervisory experience. • Communications Technician Level 4Leading Hand Cabling Licence. Strong knowledge and supervisory experience leading a small team. Understanding of labour and material costs. Assist in small tenders and reporting, liaising with clients.

  • Electrical Service Electrical service for new construction or a renovated existing building shall be 480/277-volt, 3-phase, 4-wire or approved equal. Service shall be sized for HVAC and other mechanical system(s) loads, lighting, general building services, and dedicated computer based office equipment loads. 5 xxxxx per square foot shall be provided for lighting and general service receptacles. Size of neutral conductor of 3- phase circuits shall be twice that of phase conductor to accommodate potential harmonic currents associated with computer system electronic power supplies and fluorescent lighting fixtures electronic ballasts.

  • Contractor’s Equipment Payment for required equipment owned by the Construction Manager or an affiliate of the Construction Manager will be based solely on an hourly rate derived by dividing the current appropriate monthly rate by 176 hours. No payment will be made under any circumstances for repair costs, freight and transportation charges, fuel, lubricants, insurance, any other costs and expenses, or overhead and profit.   • Personnel Equipment and Material Engineer shall furnish and maintain, at its own expense, quarters for the performance of all Engineering Services, and adequate and sufficient personnel and equipment to perform the Engineering Services as required. Any employee of Engineer who, in the reasonable opinion of County, is incompetent or whose conduct becomes detrimental to the Engineering Services shall immediately be removed from association with the Project when so instructed by County.   • CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS As per the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), where applicable, all Customer Purchase Orders in excess of ,000 that involve the employment of mechanics or laborers must include a provision for compliance with 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5). Under 40 U.S.C. 3702 of the Act, each contractor must be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than one and a half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the work week. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.
