Elementary Building. In conference with the building principal based upon the teaching assignment.
Elementary Building regular employees may be used as substitutes during their preparation time at a rate of twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour. In the event that the classroom of the absent employee is distributed between two or more regular employees, the employees will be compensated at the rate of twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour, divided egually.
Elementary Building. (6 members) - Four teachers, including a primary and an intermediate teacher, a teacher with special ed. and/or Chapter I experience, and a library media specialist.
Elementary Building. Principals may assign certificated staff members extra-duty responsibilities in lieu of a specific teaching assignment during the school day. The time required for performing the extra-duty assignment shall not exceed the time allotted within the schedule. Duties performed outside the school day shall be compensated according to the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.

  • Elementary Schools Each teacher of grade Pre-K-5 and the specialists who serve those students will be given at least 225 minutes of preparation time within the student day each 5-day student week. Each day of the week, each teacher will have at least forty (40) continuous minutes each day for preparation time.

  • Elementary School At the request of the Superintendent, elementary school teachers that teach all the student contact time on a daily basis will be paid for an additional hour at an hourly rate based upon their contractual daily rate of pay for a maximum of 180 days. Teachers will not be required to spend additional time beyond their regular day. All scheduling options must have been exhausted before an administrator will receive permission for this variance. The appeal process for this variance is defined in the Staffing Plan.
