Elementary Head Teacher Sample Clauses

Elementary Head Teacher. 1. The Elementary Head Teacher shall be the Principal’s designee in all elementary schools in which there is no assistant principal. 2. The duties of the Head Teacher shall be to make operational decisions in the absence of the Principal, and to monitor student and staff safety. 3. The Head Teacher will respond to any emergencies which may occur in the absence of the Principal, and will contact appropriate Central Office personnel for assistance as required. 4. After three (3) consecutive days, an administrator shall be assigned to the building. 5. A substitute teacher shall be provided whenever the Head Teacher takes over the principal’s duties. 6. The Head Teacher shall receive an annual stipend in APPENDIX B5. 7. This shall be a posted position.
