Eligibility to be Considered for Probationary Reappointment. III.9.3.1 Probationary appointments made at the Librarian I to IV rank shall involve an initial probationary term of two (2) years. III.9.3.1.1 A member holding an initial probationary appointment at the Librarian I to IV rank who is not considered for early permanency (as described in III.10.3.3) during the second (2nd) year of the initial two-year probationary appointment shall instead be considered for a probationary reappointment for a further two (2) years during the second (2nd) year of the initial probationary appointment. The total probationary period is not to exceed four years.
