Common use of Elimination of Project Assignment Lasting over One (1) Year Clause in Contracts

Elimination of Project Assignment Lasting over One (1) Year. Whenever a project assignment that has extended past one (1) year is eliminated and the Deck Officer’s permanent assignment has been bid out permanently, or the Deck Officer chooses to return to the fleet after filling the project assignment for more than one (1) year, that Deck Officer shall have the absolute right to exercise his/her seniority, as per Section 20.11, Elimination of Position.
