Emergency Condition. A condition or situation (i) that in the judgment of any Interconnection Party is imminently likely to endanger life or property; or (ii) that in the judgment of the Interconnected Transmission Owner or Transmission Provider is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause a material adverse effect on the security of, or damage to, the Transmission System, the Interconnection Facilities, or the transmission systems or distribution systems to which the Transmission System is directly or indirectly connected; or (iii) that in the judgment of Interconnection Customer is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause damage to the Customer Facility or to the Customer Interconnection Facilities. System restoration and black start shall be considered Emergency Conditions, provided that a Generation Interconnection Customer is not obligated by an Interconnection Service Agreement to possess black start capability. Any condition or situation that results from lack of sufficient generating capacity to meet load requirements or that results solely from economic conditions shall not constitute an Emergency Condition, unless one or more of the enumerated conditions or situations identified in this definition also exists.
Emergency Condition. A life threatening or accidental injury or a sudden and unexpected onset of a condition or illness which at the time of the occurrence reasonably appears to have the potential of causing immediate Disability or death, or which requires the immediate action or alleviation of pain or discomfort. These illnesses or injuries require urgent medical or surgical care and attention which the MEMBER secures immediately after the onset or as soon as the care may be made available.
Emergency Condition. Where there is an emergency condition, upon mutual agreement between the parties, any step or steps in the procedure may be combined to accelerate the resolution of the grievance. The time limits set forth herein may be extended provided such extension is agreed to in writing by both sides.
Emergency Condition. A medical condition, whether physical or mental, that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that a prudent layperson, who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in: (1) placing the health of the individual (or with respect to a pregnant woman, the health of the woman or her unborn child) in serious jeopardy; (2) serious impairment to bodily functions; or (3) serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part.
Emergency Condition. The term “Emergency Condition” shall mean a condition or situation: (1) that in the judgment of the Party making the claim is imminently Fast Track Process – The procedure for evaluating an Interconnection Request for a certified Generating Facility that meets the eligibility requirements of Section 3.1. FERC – The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Emergency Condition. Where there is an emergency condition, upon mutual agreement between the person who should answer the grievance at each step and Local 92, any step or steps in this procedure may be combined to accelerate the resolution of the emergency condition. Each person responsible to answer at each step shall make an immediate decision as to whether the grievance is to be advanced. When there is an agreement at the Second Step that an emergency condition exists, it shall proceed as an emergency through the remaining steps of the grievance procedure.
Emergency Condition. The term “Emergency Condition” shall mean a condition or situation: (1) that in the judgment of the Party making the claim is imminently likely to endanger life or property; or (2) that, in the case of the Utility, is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause a material adverse effect on the security of, or damage to the Utility’s System, the Utility’s Interconnection Facilities or the systems of others to which the Utility’s System is directly connected; or (3) that, in the case of the Interconnection Customer, is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause a material adverse effect on the security of, or damage to, the Generating Facility or the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities. Fast Track Process – The procedure for evaluating an Interconnection Request for a certified Generating Facility that meets the eligibility requirements of Section 3.1. FERC – The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Emergency Condition. This is any traumatic injury or condition which: • Occurs unexpectedly; • Requires immediate diagnosis and treatment; in order to stabilize the condition; and • Is characterized by symptoms such as severe pain and bleeding.
Emergency Condition. A physical, mental or addiction disorder-related6 medical condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity, (including severe pain), such that a prudent layperson, who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention, to result in (a) placing the patient’s health in serious jeopardy; (b) serious impairment to bodily function; or (c) serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part.
