Common use of Eminent Domain Valuation Procedure Clause in Contracts

Eminent Domain Valuation Procedure. For lands, easements, or rights-of-way acquired by eminent domain proceedings instituted after the effective date of this Agreement, the Non-Federal Sponsor, prior to instituting such proceedings, shall submit to the Government notification in writing of its intent to institute such proceedings and an appraisal of the specific real property interests to be acquired in such proceedings. The Government shall have 60 calendar days after receipt of such a notice and appraisal within which to review the appraisal, if not previously approved by the Government in writing.
