Common use of EMPLOYEE AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME Clause in Contracts

EMPLOYEE AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME. The parties acknowledge the establishment of an Employee and Family Assistance Programme, hereinafter referred to as the "Programme", to assist employees covered by this collective agreement with problems of a personal nature, including, but not limited to substance abuse problems. The parties acknowledge and agree that the Programme is more likely to be effective if the identity of persons utilizing the Programme, and the nature of services provided by the Programme, remain voluntary and confidential.
