Employee Conduct and Courtesy. Contractor shall use its best efforts to assure that all employees present a neat appearance and conduct themselves in a courteous manner. Contractor shall regularly (at least annually) train its employees in customer courtesy, shall prohibit the use of loud or profane language and the removal of any materials from loads, and shall instruct collection crews to perform the work as quietly as possible. If any employee is found not to be courteous or not to be performing services in the manner required by this Agreement, Contractor shall take all necessary corrective measures, including, but not limited to, transfer, discipline or termination. If City has notified Contractor of a complaint related to discourteous behavior, Contractor shall, upon request of City, reassign the employee to duties not entailing contact with the public while the Contractor is pursuing its investigation, disciplinary, and retraining process.
