Common use of Employee Misconduct Registry Clause in Contracts

Employee Misconduct Registry. A registry of persons who have been confirmed to have committed acts of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. The purpose of the Employee Misconduct Registry is to ensure that unlicensed personnel who commit acts of abuse, neglect, exploitation, misappropriation, or misconduct against residents and consumers are denied employment in certain facilities and agencies. The following is a non- exhaustive list of facilities and agencies are required to check the Employee Misconduct Registry prior to hiring an unlicensed employee: 1.56.1 Nursing facilities; 1.56.2 Assisted living (personal care) facilities; 1.56.3 Adult xxxxxx care (Type C) facilities; 1.56.4 Adult day care facilities; 1.56.5 Hospices; and 1.56.6 Home and community support services agencies (HCSSAs).
