Common use of Employee Requested Change in Work Schedule Clause in Contracts

Employee Requested Change in Work Schedule. An employee desiring a change in work schedule may request such change to their supervisor. If the supervisor approves the change in the employee's work schedule, the employee waives all rights to reporting pay, overtime compensation, and shift differential associated with the request. The employee's request may not be unreasonably denied, subject to the operational needs of the Department. Operational need shall be understood to include the following examples or like circumstances:
