Common use of Employee Termination Clause in Contracts

Employee Termination. A) Regular employees other than those serving a probationary period, shall give a minimum of twenty-eight (28) calendar days’ written notice of termination to the designated manager. B) The period of notice as set forth in (A) above must be for time scheduled to be worked. Inclusion of vacation in the twenty-eight (28) day period is subject to the approval of the designated manager and the availability of suitable relief coverage. Where vacation was previously approved it will be counted in the twenty-eight (28) day notice.
