Employees Covered By Procedure/Forms of Discipline. This procedure shall apply to all non-probationary Bargaining Unit employees. The tenure of every non- probationary employee subject to the terms of this Agreement shall be during good behavior and efficient service. Non-probationary employees shall not be reduced in pay or position (including working suspensions), suspended, discharged, or removed except for grounds stated in Section 2 of this article. The Employer may take disciplinary action against any employee in the bargaining unit for just cause. The Chief or Safety Director will have ten (10) working days from the date he/she becomes aware that an infraction has occurred to initiate the disciplinary process. Forms of disciplinary action are:
