Employees in the Certificated Supervisory. bargaining unit are professional employees exempt from the wage and hour laws. They are paid on a salaried basis and not considered hourly employees nor are they entitled to overtime pay. As such, their hours vary and are, to a certain degree, flexible, subject to the need to supervise employees and students.
