Employer Required Certifications. When the Employer requires employee certifications (ACLS, PALS, Coding, BLS, etc.) it is the Employer’s responsibility to fund and make appropriate arrangements to meet certification requirements. Appropriate arrangements include adequate time and resources for the Employee to meet the Employer’s certification requirements. The parties agree that employees will be on duty time when taking Employer required examinations.
