Common use of Employment Eligibility Verification Clause in Contracts

Employment Eligibility Verification. 9 As applicable, CONTRACTOR warrants that it fully complies with all federal and State 10 statutes and regulations regarding the employment of aliens and others, and that all its employees 11 performing work under this Agreement meet the citizenship or alien status requirement set forth 12 in federal statutes and regulations. CONTRACTOR shall obtain, from all employees performing 13 work hereunder, all verification and other documentation of employment eligibility status required 14 by federal or State statutes and regulations including, but not limited to, the Immigration Reform 15 and Control Act of 1986, Title 8 USC Section 1324 et seq., as they currently exist and as they may 16 be hereafter amended. CONTRACTOR shall retain all such documentation for all covered 17 employees for the period prescribed by the law. CONTRACTOR shall indemnify, defend with 18 counsel approved in writing by COUNTY, and hold harmless, COUNTY, and its agents, officers 19 and employees from employer sanctions and any other liability which may be assessed against 20 CONTRACTOR or COUNTY or both in connection with any alleged violation of any federal or 21 State statutes or regulations pertaining to the eligibility for employment of any persons performing 22 work under this Agreement.

CONTRACTOR shall obtain, from all employees performing 13 work 21 hereunder, all verification and other documentation of employment eligibility 22 status required 14 by federal Federal or State statutes and regulations including, but 23 not limited to, the Immigration Reform 15 and Control Act of 1986, Title 8 USC 24 Section 1324 et seq., as they currently exist and as they may 16 be hereafter 25 amended. CONTRACTOR shall retain all such documentation for all covered 17 26 employees for the period prescribed by the law. CONTRACTOR shall indemnify, 27 defend with 18 counsel approved in writing by COUNTY, and hold harmless, COUNTY, and 28 its agents, officers 19 officers, and employees from employer sanctions and any other 1 liability which may be assessed against 20 CONTRACTOR or COUNTY or both in 2 connection with any alleged violation of any federal Federal or 21 State statutes or 3 regulations pertaining to the eligibility for employment of any persons 4 performing 22 work under this Agreement.

Employment Eligibility Verification. 9 ‌ As applicable, CONTRACTOR warrants that it fully complies with all federal and State 10 statutes and regulations regarding the employment of aliens and others, and that all its employees 11 performing work under this Agreement Contract meet the citizenship or alien status requirement set forth 12 in federal statutes and regulations.
