Enabling the Commissioned. Organisation to comply with the Research Agreement The Collaborating Institution acknowledges that the Commissioned Organisation is responsible to ACIAR for the conduct and progress of the Project under the terms of the Research Agreement. The Collaborating Institution agrees it will not, through any act or omission, place the Commissioned Organisation in breach of the Research Agreement.   • Honoring the Card Neither we nor merchants authorized to honor the card will be responsible for the failure or refusal to honor the card or any other device we supply to you.   • CONTRACTOR’S RELATION TO THE STATE In the performance of this Agreement the Contractor is in all respects an independent contractor, and is neither an agent nor an employee of the State. Neither the Contractor nor any of its officers, employees, agents or members shall have authority to bind the State or receive any benefits, workers’ compensation or other emoluments provided by the State to its employees.
