Common use of Entry and Reentry Clause in Contracts

Entry and Reentry. In the event that the Lease should be terminated as hereinbefore provided, or by summary proceedings or otherwise, or in the event that the demised lands, or any part thereof, should be abandoned by the Lessee during the term, the City or its agents, servants, or representative, may, immediately or any time thereafter, reenter and resume possession of the lands or such thereof, and remove all persons and property therefrom either by summary proceedings or by a suitable action or proceeding at law without being liable for any damages therefor. No reentry by the City shall be deemed an acceptance of a surrender of the Lease.
