Entry Criteria. An employee who has satisfactorily met the requirements of level 5 and has attained AQF level 2 under the certificate of food processing or equivalent training and experience in the Dairy/Food manufacturing Industry and who through assessment or appropriate qualifications is capable of meeting the requirements of level 6. An employee at level 6 must be able to operate regularly within all areas of the plant. Any new employee must be deemed by the employer to be able to perform work at level 6. Laboratory employees have completed a certificate 3 in Laboratory Skills or had industry experience equivalent to the requirements of this position Work easily without supervision with general guidance on progress and outcomes sort. Have a sound/detailed working knowledge of the production or laboratory process. Assist in the provision of on the job training and facilitation for employees at levels 1-5. Operate flexibly between workstations when required. Identify and correct problems subject to company guidelines and without supervision. The work of others may be supervised or teams guided. Responsibility for the planning and management of the work of others may be involved. Assist management in the decision making process.
