Common use of Erasure or Return Clause in Contracts

Erasure or Return. The Receiving Controller shall erase or return to the Disclosing Controller the Personal Data in accordance with the requirements specified in the relevant Agreement. If the Agreement does not contain any such requirements, the Receiving Controller shall erase and/or destroy the Personal Data after termination of the Agreement if it is no longer necessary to retain it for the purpose of the Permitted Activity or as otherwise required by applicable laws.
